Today I woke up tired, with no desire to exercise. I’m not sure how many of you can relate to this.

I had the perfect excuse; it was raining!:-)

What I usually do when I’m conflicted between taking charge or go with the flow is to close my eyes and try to stay present (be mindful).

When I do this, I connect with my intuition and make my decisions based on the feedback I feel I receive from the Universe.

Then, all of the sudden the rain resided, and I decided to get out and do some jogging. I felt that was a sign.

To tune-in my passion, I chose my most dynamic music playlist and hit the pavement.

While jogging, I saw the most beautiful rainbow ever and took a picture to share it with my friends along with the message I’m writing below:

“Done exercising and saw this beautiful rainbow. I had to share it with you! It’s a promise from the Universe that it’s going to be a great day! Do your best, and the Universe will do the rest!-:)”

It received so many likes that I wanted to share it with you too!

I felt that I learned a lesson in the process: If I haven’t done my best and would have stayed home, I wouldn’t have exercised nor taken this picture that touched the lives of the people I love.

I also learned that doing your best is all you have since we can’t control everything. We have to trust the Universe knowing that what needs to happen, will happen.

Ask yourself:  How can I push myself to do my best today?

Do: Do your best today, and the Universe will do the rest!

Take-home message: The day has twenty-four hours, so you have to maximize your time. The best way to be efficient is to stay present. Mindfulness will allow you to discern when to take action and when to become the observer and go with the flow.
