Have you done the math?
Yes, the math of counting your blessings vs. the stressful situations you might be going through.
I will call these my BIGGEST VALUES/BLESSINGS. They are not affected by the amount of cash you have because money can’t buy them.
These are:
–The love of your family and friends.
–Your health.
–The feeling of joy and happiness.
–The air you breathe.
–The sun that warms you and gives life to this planet.
–A day walking on the beach.
–The breeze that plays with your hair.
–The happy moments chatting with your friends.
–The gift of having a child.
–The moon and stars that shine at night.
–The flowers that color and perfume the earth.
–The peace that you feel when you know you did something good.
–The birds singing.
And the list goes on and on…

Take-home message: When you are facing difficulties, there are two paths you can take:
(1) The path of going through all the negative feelings, or (2) move-on with courage. Count your BIGGEST VALUES/BLESSINGS.
Ask yourself:
–How do I feel regarding this difficult situation?
–What do I value most in life?
Exercise:
Do: Allow yourself to go through all the feelings and emotions.
–Then write down a list of your BIGGEST VALUES/BLESSINGS.
–Write another list of the negative feelings/emotions you are going through.
For every BIGGEST VALUE/BLESSING, cross out a negative feeling/emotion. What are you left with?
If your feelings/emotions list is bigger, that means you still need to vent the pain a little longer.
Go back to this exercise again until you finally find that your BIGGEST VALUE/BLESSING list is what you have left.
Trust me; there are more BIGGEST VALUES/BLESSINGS; you just have to let the pain subside.
